O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despair, lust of power, and idle talk.
But give rather the spirit of chastity, humility, patience, and love to Your servant.
Yes, O Lord and King, grant me to see my own transgressions, and not to judge my brother or sister, for blessed are you, unto ages of ages. Amen.

Litany for Ukraine, Trinity Church, Boston. February 26, 2023
Christ Our God, Lover of All Humankind, we ask you to visit your compassionate presence upon the People of Ukraine.
Be with those who suffer physically; from cold, hunger, lack of shelter
Be with those who suffer mentally; from trauma, fear, separation, and deprivation of basic needs
Be with those who suffer spiritually; from grief, despair, hopelessness, death of loved ones, disappearance of children, and from broken hearts..
Be with all who suffer in ways that are known only to you.
Direct, O Lord, the efforts to provide Humanitarian Aid to our brothers and sisters. Guide the trains and transports and the courageous men and women who take risks daily to make your presence known by bringing relief to all in need in every war torn village, town, city and province of our beloved Ukraine.
May our beloved People of Ukraine never falter in their longstanding traditions; Love of peace, gratitude for their rich Land, willingness to work tirelessly, their demonstrated love of education and culture, music and art, and the centrality of family and community. May the People of Ukraine never falter in their Faith in You and may they know the signs of your unfailing love in this time of great suffering. Hear us, O gracious Lord and Have Mercy.
